Just interested to know what venues you like playing at around Cambs.
Where is your favorite place to play. Anywhere to avoid like the plague!

Has anyone got any suggestions for venues where they'll try out new(ish) bands at very reasonable rates I've trawled around a few without much success - there must be people out there who want some (decent live music?????? |

| I think more are opening up just recently. The Aviator works very well for my band. Any classic rock and metal will go down well there. New one just up the road from there aswell. Trouble is this time of the year many places already booked all year. Bulls head in St Neots worth a shot (she a real hard nosed so and so but pays well). Think I spotted a new place in somersham recently, driving past. One thing I've learned is without them knowing you, you get on far better face to face (preferably with demo in hand). I'd like to play in Peterborough but I know nothing of the pub scene there. Lot of rock and metal fans there though. |
